Safe Haven Psychotherapy & Wellness
Common Questions
Do you offer in-person sessions?
At this time, sessions are offered virtually, allowing you to attend therapy from a private and comfortable space within Georgia.
What can we work on together in therapy?
Therapy is individualized to you. Together we may explore relationship patterns, attachment, communication, boundaries, emotional regulation, self-esteem, life transitions, anxiety, and other concerns that may be affecting how you feel or connect with others.
How can I pay for therapy?
I currently accept the following commercial insurance plans: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna/Evernorth, and Optum. Coverage varies by plan, so benefits and eligibility should be verified before beginning services.
I also offer private pay if you do not want to use insurance or dont have it
How long are therapy sessions?
Initial individual therapy sessions are typically 60 minutes, and follow-up sessions are 53 minutes.
What if I'm not sure what I need from therapy yet?
That's completely okay. You don't need to have everything figured out before beginning. Part of therapy can be identifying what's feeling difficult, understanding patterns, and developing goals together.
What is attachment-focused therapy?
Attachment-focused work explores how earlier and current relationships may influence the way you experience closeness, trust, conflict, emotional safety, and connection. The goal isn't simply to label an “attachment style,” but to better understand your patterns and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.
